Starting October the grants will go up by R10. Old people will now get R2,320 instead of R2,310. People who are 75 or older will receive R2,340 instead of R2,330. War veterans will also get R2340 up from R2,330. People with disabilities and those who need care will get R2,320 instead of R2310.

This is good news for South Africans who depend on these grants. The extra money will help them deal with rising costs. SASSA wants to make sure everyone knows about these new amounts before October starts.
