The NPA office in Gauteng is confident about their case against 11 people who are charged with stealing millions from SASSA. The suspects are accused of taking part in a big fraud scheme that targeted the social security agency. Prosecutors say they have solid evidence to prove the theft of government funds. The case has drawn attention because it involves money meant for people who need social support.

The suspects went to court in Lenasia on Thursday. Ten of them got out on bail with payments between $550 to $1650. Police say they made fake social security profiles in a complex fraud plan. The case shows how some people try to cheat the welfare system through identity theft.
