The law will find people who do bad things. Even if they run away or hide for a long time they can’t escape forever. This is why people often say “the long arm of the law” when talking about justice. It means that criminals will face consequences for their actions sooner or later. No one can outrun justice forever.

We can all see what’s happening with Shauwn Mkhize right now. Most people know her as MaMkhize and she’s a business owner who often makes headlines. Her life is full of drama & people always talk about what she does. She keeps showing up in the news because of her choices and business deals. Many people have different opinions about her but she stays in the spotlight no matter what.
The South African tax office isn’t done with MaMkhize yet. They already sold 14 of her cars but now they want more. They plan to auction her Lamborghini Urus & some work vehicles. They’re also going after her boat & her expensive designer handbags. SARS is determined to get the money she owes them and won’t stop until they do. The first auction wasn’t enough to cover her debt so they keep taking more of her stuff to sell.
Reports say MaMkhize has a big tax debt with the South African tax office. They started selling her cars to get the money back. One of these was a rare Mercedes-Benz Maybach from 2022. This car was special because only 100 were made in the world and it was worth about 5.6 million Rand. No one knows how much money they got from selling the car or how much she still needs to pay in taxes.
MaMkhize’s Lamborghini Set to Hit Auction Block – What Triggered SARS to Act?
The online auction starts October 10 and ends October 15. If you want to check out the items before buying you can see them in person. The viewing happens on Monday and Tuesday at two places in Pretoria. You can visit either Bapsfontein or Mooikloof to look at the items. This info comes from the Bidders Choice website.
The Lamborghini Urus from 2021 leads the auction list with a starting price of 2 million Rand. Someone already wants this car because the bid went up to 3.1 million Rand on day one of the auction.
Auto Trader lists a used 2021 Lamborghini Urus for sale at R5.8 million. This one has 45000 kilometers on it. We don’t know how many kilometers MaMkhize has driven on her Urus.
Look at all photos carefully before you buy. You need to check everything in the pictures. Don’t make a purchase if you haven’t seen what you’re buying. You must look at the item first.

Inside the Fleet: More Luxury Cars Owned by MaMkhize Under SARS Radar
The auction will include MaMkhize’s Lamborghini and 41 other vehicles. Most of them are construction equipment. There are 23 work vehicles like tractors and concrete mixers. You can find a Kubota tractor and a Komatsu loader from 2009. The list also has a Mitsubishi concrete mixer & a Hamm tire roller from 2008. These machines were used for construction work before being put up for sale.
There are problems with some of the vehicles. Two machines don’t have any paperwork – a T602 roller and a Cat RM 300 recycler from 2008. Without proper documents it’s hard to prove these machines belong to MaMkhize. This is a big issue that needs to be sorted out.
The Bidders’ Choice team told The Citizen that when they say “no papers” for an item it usually means the vehicle can’t be registered for road use. This often applies to construction equipment.
The auction features several Toyota vehicles. There is a V8 Land Cruiser 79 Series from 2015 that people are bidding on for R530,000. You can also find a 2017 Hilux with a 2.5 D-4D engine going for R150000. The last vehicle is a 2019 Toyota SC with a 2.4 GD-6 engine and its current bid is R170,000.

Designer handbags are very expensive these days. Big names like Balenciaga and Saint Laurent make bags that cost a lot of money. Other famous brands like Louis Vuitton Dior Gucci and Burberry also sell pricey bags. Just one of these bags can cost over R20 000 in stores. Many people save up for months to buy them because they are seen as status symbols.
