Eligibility Criteria for R2320 SASSA Old Age Pension

– You need to be at least 60 years old and live in South Africa.

– You must be a South African citizen a permanent resident or have refugee status.

– You can’t receive other SASSA benefits or live in a state care facility.

– There are also money limits. If you’re single your yearly income must be less than R86,280.

– For married couples the combined income needs to be under R172560.

– Your assets also need to be below certain limits set by SASSA.

– This means things like property savings & investments.
