Updated Grant Payment Schedule for October 2025

SASSA will pay grants to elderly and disabled people on October 2 and 3, 2025. Other grants like child support & foster care will start on October 6 2025. You don’t need to get your money on the first day because the funds stay available for a long time. Take your time and collect when it’s best for you.

Breakdown of SRD R370 and Other Grant Amounts

The SRD payment of R370 will be paid out from October 24 to October 30 2025 on weekdays only. The other social grants for October 2025 will stay about the same as before. Here are the payment amounts:

– People aged 60 to 74 will get R2,315

– People aged 75 and older and war veterans will get R2,335

– People with disabilities & care needs will get R2315

Child support payments will be R560

– Foster child support will be R1,250

You need to look at SASSA’s website to see if you can get the payment and when it will come. Make sure your bank details are correct on your SASSA account.
