The day has finally arrived as the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) gathers its followers at King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi to reaffirm their manifesto and express gratitude for their unwavering support. The atmosphere is charged with enthusiasm as supporters flock to the stadium.
Today, the IFP hosts a significant rally at King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, drawing large numbers of supporters.
Addressing the crowd, KwaZulu-Natal Chairperson and Premier Candidate, Hon. Thami Ntuli, outlined his comprehensive plan to revitalize and transform the province. Ntuli’s vision includes initiatives to upgrade infrastructure, stimulate economic growth, and enhance social services, promising a brighter future for KwaZulu-Natal under IFP leadership.
In a powerful speech, IFP Deputy President Hon. Inkosi Mzamo Buthelezi criticized the current leadership in eThekwini Municipality, highlighting the city’s decline and attributing it to failed governance. He called upon supporters to embrace the IFP’s vision for change and transformation, asserting that Thami Ntuli is the best candidate to lead KwaZulu-Natal.
Buthelezi emphasized the urgent need for a new direction in South Africa, criticizing other political parties for their short-term focus on elections rather than genuine commitment to the people. He urged the crowd to rally behind the IFP and its vision for a revitalized province and nation.
In his address, Mr. Thami Ntuli criticized the ANC for repeatedly making the same promises and failing to deliver on them. He pointed out that, in many cases, the situation has worsened, and yet the ANC continues to promise a better life without shame. Even when the president delivers the State of the Nation Address (SONA), it is always the same unfulfilled promises.
The unity and determination of IFP supporters were palpable throughout the rally, as chants of ‘Do it for Shenge’ echoed through the stadium. The event served not only as a reminder of the party’s manifesto but also as a testament to the unwavering support and resolve of its followers.”
