Richards Bay Minerals (RBM) continues to elevate community engagement and sportsmanship through its annual soccer tournament. Starting as an exclusive event for KwaMbonambi teams, it has evolved into a celebration of diversity, encompassing teams from various Tribal Houses.
Initially exclusive to KwaMbonambi, the tournament now embraces teams from four Tribal Houses: Inkosi Mkhwanazi, Inkosi uDube, Inkosi Mbuyazi, and Inkosi uMthiyane, fostering unity under the King Cetshwayo Municipality.
The tournament, inaugurated by Chief Operations Officer Kox Gumba, epitomized unity and fair play. Held at John Ross College this year, RBM’s strategic venue selection underscores its commitment to engaging diverse communities.

Zebras FC claimed victory, securing R10,000 after an exhilarating match against Anada One.
Similarly, Pitoli FC clinched R20,000 by triumphing over Two Touch FC in an intense match.

RBM Legends, comprising ex-employees, and Eyamakhosi, representing Tribal Houses, engaged in a friendly match before the final game, fostering unity and sportsmanship, exemplifying RBM’s commitment to community unity beyond competition.
