Mayoral Drivers License Program
Over 70 community members in Mthonjaneni benefited from the Mayoral Drivers License program, a key initiative designed to enhance employment opportunities. The program enables individuals to obtain their driver’s licenses, a crucial step in securing various employment prospects. Mayor Mr. Biyela expressed his satisfaction with the program’s success and commended the participants for their commitment.
Bursary Handover for Academic Excellence
In tandem with the drivers’ license program, the municipality recognized academic achievement by awarding trophies, laptops, and certificates of excellence to students who excelled in their studies. The top 10 students received special recognition, with the first-place student, Philasande Biyela, receiving an additional reward of R5000.
